Among the summer holidays with a fixed date, the most important holiday for the Saxons in Viscri celebrates the wreath (" Kryinemachen "), an old agrarian ritual dedicated to vegetation, crops, prosperity and divinity, on the day that celebrates St. Peter and Paul (June 29).
The ritual is realised by young girls and boys who had been confirmed, and who take part in a complex process of actions: elevation of a wreath made of flowers and oak leaves, arranging the participants according to their gender, utterance of some verse by the leader of the Bruderschaft , as well as symbolic dances and fanfare music.
